This is our favorite baked salmon. Even my kids love it!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Bake salmon filet (skin side down if it has skin) for 20 minutes or until fish is opaque.
While salmon is baking prepare sauce. In a small saucepan combine:
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
pinch of salt or Morton's Nature's seasoning salt
pinch of parsley
1/2 cup sour cream
*option to add 2 Tbsp capers if you have them (I usually don't)
Cook the oil and garlic for about a minute, then, add the other ingredients and simmer for 2-4 minutes, or just until heated through.
Serve the salmon with the sauce on top.
If you are anything like my family, double the sauce recipe!

Hey Sarah, do you know if Borax expires or if it loses its effectiveness after a certain length of time?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about that, Amanda. I have used mine pretty quickly, so never thought about it.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok. I didn't think I had Borax, but ran across a box while packing our house. :)
